Morven is once again playing in goal for Scotland Emerging Girls in the European U16 Girls Championships being hosted by Scotland in Glasgow.

The Scotland girls started with a 0-8 defeat to a very strong Belgium team on Sunday and today will face Germany who won 9-6 against England ! So that will be a tough one says her Mum Andrea who is there in support. On Tuesday Scotland v England before a cross-over game on Wednesday to decide final placings.

The Scottish Hockey website report mentions Morven's excellent play twice:
"A string of fantastic saves by Morven Begg kept the Belgians at four at half time as the Scots took the chance to regroup." .............." Begg was called into action at the start of the final quarter with a superb reaction save to deny a close range effort."
