Gordonians were away to Dawson Park to face Grove Menzieshill. After a slow start Gordonians scored first from open play but Grove were tenacious and pulled a goal back 2 minutes later. At the halftime break it was 1-1. From the whistle to start the 3rd quarter the girls stepped up and put in a strong second half performance. With goals from Anaïs Descamps, Diketso, Juliet Brown from open play and a short corner goal from Amy Ashton. Game ended 5-1 win for Gordonians, the girls hope to finish strong against ESM next weekend.

Strathclyde University 4 - 3 Gordonians Men
Our Men travelled down to play Strathclyde University with 12 players including 2 goalkeepers on Saturday for their final game before the Christmas Break. They started slowly and quickly found themselves 2-0 down in the first quarter to the university students. Captain Peter Serle continued his fine goalscoring form this first half of the season with a goal just after the quarter break to make the score 2-1. A solo effort by George Jones carrying the ball past 5 defenders and rounding the goalkeeper had the game level at 2-2 , going into the final quarter. The final quarter seen Adam Walker score what he thought was the winner against his former team to make the score 3-2 however it was not meant to be, as our men could not hold on and 2 counter attacking goals by the students see the game finish 4-3.
